Plans certificate
Manual to the Building Regulations, A code of practice for use in England, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) in July 2020, states: ‘Plans certificates can be used to demonstrate that detailed plans of the work or a part of it comply with the Building Regulations. They are described in Regulations 14 and 15 of the Approved Inspectors Regulations and Section 50 of the Building Act.’
